Data Deletion Instructions

How to disconnect Xcelerator Ads from Facebook and Instagram and have Xcelerate delete the Meta data it holds about your business.

Effective date: Oct 8, 2026

You can remove Xcelerator Ads’ access to your Facebook and Instagram business assets and have us delete the data we received from Meta at any time. Use any one of the options below.

Option 1: Disconnect in your Xcelerator workspace

  • Sign in to your Xcelerator CRM.
  • Open Meta Ads, then Settings.
  • Choose Disconnect. We revoke the connection with Meta immediately and start deleting your Meta data.

Option 2: Remove the app in Meta

  • In Meta Business Suite, open Settings, then Integrations, then Connected apps.
  • Select Xcelerator Ads and choose Remove.
  • If you connected with a personal profile, you can also open Facebook Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations, select Xcelerator Ads and choose Remove.

Removing the app stops all access. To also have us delete data we already hold, use Option 3 or disconnect in your workspace as well.

Option 3: Email us

Send an email to support@xcelerator.agency with the subject "Meta data deletion request". Include your business portfolio name or ID and your Xcelerator workspace address, and send it from an email address on that workspace so we can confirm you are authorized. We reply with a confirmation code within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What we delete

  • The access token Meta issued for your connection, immediately.
  • Ad account, campaign, insight, Page, Instagram, pixel and lead data we received from Meta, within 30 days.

We may keep billing records and limited security logs for as long as the law requires. They do not contain your Facebook or Instagram content.

What stays where it is

  • Deleting your data from Xcelerator does not delete your campaigns, ads, posts or leads inside Meta. Manage those in Ads Manager or Meta Business Suite.
  • Records your team saved into your CRM workspace, such as imported leads, are part of your workspace. Delete them in the CRM, or ask us to delete them along with your Meta data.
